What an amazing event and good time was had by all.
Starting with the Friday Night “Captains Dinner” where all of our Boat Captains got to meet their team for the first time. Having some time together and discuss strategy and plan what time to leave in the morning and the location for pick up. WHO ARE WE KIDDING… Sure that other stuff happened… but partying and getting to know each other was the goal for the Friday Night Dinner, hosted by Captain Brad Maybank and his lovely wife Bridget.
Participates were in the Fort Myers area from North Carolina, Denver, Colorado, Michigan… this isn’t just a normal “Local” event… people and “Now Friends” travel to play in Fins and Skins Tournament each year!
Early Saturday morning the Boat Captain’s were ready and the participants were on in the Gulf… fishing for placement points in the Golf event later that afternoon. Most of the Boat Captain’s were meet at 5:30 AM… first lines hit the water at 6:00 AM. 4-hours later… catch some rest for the golf segment at 2:00 PM
… AND THEN CAME GOLF! – Many of us were laughing figuring after 4-hours on a boat… and little bit of rest then another 4 1/2 hour round of golf… a few of them may not even know that they are playing.
